My Awesome Mother's Day Present

My wonderful, wonderful husband surprised us with a trip down to the keys for Mother's Day. We went down last Wednesday and stayed through Saturday. The place he got was a beach house resort in Marathon, and the house was right on the beach. It was absolutely wonderful! Our girls are in love with the beach, and it was right off the back porch.

Here are some pictures of the girls having fun on the beach...sorry for so many, but consider yourself lucky-I took around 400 pictures, so this really isn't that many :)

We went down to Key West for a few hours on Thursday, I didn't get many pictures though. These are the only good ones...

We had such a great trip, no one wanted to come home! The girls absolutely loved it - hopefully we get to go back sometime. Until then we will be hitting the beach here!

Peyton sleeps with everyone you see in the below picture...2 babies and a lamb. She insists on bringing them all out of the crib each time she gets up - it's the cutest thing! Here she was posing for pictures with her lamb...she was being so cute!

Random Recent Stuff

I know it's been FOREVER since my last post (if you don't count my pay it forward one that is). I don't have much of an excuse...really I'm just a slacker. The sad part is I LOVE to read everyone's blogs, and check them a few times a day (ok, now I know I need to get a life:) So here we go! Here are a few from Easter:

We went to a snow day/ice skating thing that my friend Sharon was sooooo nice to organize! It was a lot of fun, and Riley was trying to make snow angels. But the snow was really the ice scrapings in a huge pile! But in Florida that's about all you can get!

I can't believe it's almost the end of April already! It seems like time is just flying by us these days. I can't wait to relax this summer with the girls. I start nursing school in the fall so I know my free time will be sparse, so I want to soak in as much fun with them as I can until then!
